Door Gap

Our safes has one of the tightest Door Gaps in the safe industry. This set-up makes it even more difficult for a would-be burglar to get in the safe by using Pry bars and bending the door out and breaking the locking bolts.

Door Frame

1″ x 1 5/8″ solid Bar Stock door frame with a complete weld to the body of the safe with a smoke and fire seal lining offering added protection.

Moving Bolts

Up to 20 Movable Bolts surrounding each door housing the locking mechanism, three layers of 1/2″ fire protection, and a solid steel plate outer door. Three door thicknesses to choose from 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″.

Fire Protection

Standard 1,200° F at 90 minutes Fire Rating. Where other manufacturer companies only guarantee that the safe will last for a short amount of time, Reed Safes wants to ensure that the safe can withstand a full house fire and come out the other side with all of contents safe and untouched.

Bolt Work

2.5″ Length x 1.5″ Diameter movable stainless steel bolts. By using a stainless steel both of this thickness, gives a would-be burglar a lot of work to break into the safe as well will ensure that during a house fire, the bolts wont warp or crap under temperature.

Interior Lighting

Interior motion sensor LED lighting is a standard feature in all Reed Safes. Bright LED lights illuminate the safes contents, making it easier to locate and store guns, documents, valuables, and important papers with ease.
